Depends on your style. For example, Park at 14th has been great everytime I've been. But it's a 25-45 professional crowd. If it's not your scene, you'll think it sucks.

Adams Morgan (18th St), U St & H St all have several blocks of bars, lounges & small clubs. You just have to find what you like.

If you're here Monday night, check Marvins on 14th & U St.

Gentrification is changin' the scene a bit, but I have to look at a dude sideways that says there's any shortage of sistas here.

What does 'hipster' even mean anymore? When I was in DC people would label things hipster that were actually more yuppie.

In any event, I never had a good time at Park unless I was wasted outta my mind. H St was more my scene or something off the beaten path in Petworth/Columbia Heights.

Columbia Heights/H Streets are probably the most "organic" and "hipster" areas of the city. Totally different type of broads though. If you're into the "hipster" scene I'd suggest The Red Derby (not on a weekend), Lyman's Taven and the Wonderland Ballroom.

You won't hear any Drake though.

I heard Josephine's is a good spot.
Lounge of Three on U Street is suppose to be the best happy hour spot in the city.

They don't play Drake at Wonderland? :usure:

Derby can be hit or miss on the weekend. As long as you have a good wing though you can come off :myman:

Yea.. they have those DJ's upstairs. Guess they do play horrible shyt on occasion.

The Derby on a weekend is wack as fukk to me. The flip flop, goofy post-frat boy, Non profit, law school types that infest DC descend. It's never really been the same since they put in that roof top patio. I live across the street though so I still go. :yeshrug:

Dupont Circle: You won't see too much melanin but it's not bad. More geared toward the younger crowd

I went to Eden once shyt was dead. Cafe Asia right next door, looks nice from the outside but it might be rachet.

You can walk from H Street (The Park) to Eden/Cafe Asia to Dupont ... scope it and then make your choice.
