A very mid trailer

The dull “western” space station bar and slum settings are overused/boring to me.

Like, I get that’s the typical meet a random bounty hunter (like Lobo) trope for space shows, be it Star Wars or Halo, and probably budget-friendly, but there was nothing that peaked my interest seeing Kara in that setting.

Obviously this will be the least important trailer. The next one that features Lobo will be the highlight, and will reveal if this will be a movie for female audiences to gravitate to, or just another guy-movie with a female lead.

Tom King said his inspiration for woman of tomorrow partly came from the movie true grit so it should have a space western feel to it.

That’s fair. It didn’t do much for me, but the next trailer with probably be their best foot forward. It’s clear they’re saving the Lobo stuff as a big selling point, especially given the synopsis of the movie.

I can see where the guardian of the galaxy comparisons are coming from, but since I love the GOTG movies, I see that as a positive thing:yeshrug:
