With the teaser I started to re-read Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow and I couldn't help but read the whole damn thing again, such a good book and the fukking art 
Teaser looks fine I guess, I worry about Ruthye not being able to be the character she's supposed to be but hopefully the film can balance it out with others stuff. Sadly it did give incredibly generic vibes, which is the complete opposite of the source material

Yeah man, but I have no idea how you can adapt Evely's art in a film without creating new technology AND going completely out of budgetThe comic that this movie was based on (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) has a distinct, bright and colorful art style.
Meanwhile, in the trailer, the world looks mostly drab and dreary. Why did they do that?

Didn’t look too great. Looks like a perfectly average and acceptable but not noteworthy superhero movie. She’s too small and doesn’t command scenes that’s why they got that dog and Lobo and the other chick etc. But so did Superman to a certain extent. The director is Craig Gillespie so you know it’s gonna be garden variety.
& the suit look stupid on her like they added helium to her chest but she went in the dressing room and readjusted it to look normal. End of the day you know what to expect. Just some bullshyt to go see if you want, or not

Supergirl is releasing around the same time as Toy Story 5 and Minions 3. Also, The Odyssey releases relatively close to Supergirl as well.
That's some tough competition to be released around. I say that Supergirl makes $300-400 million MAXIMUM (with most of it's gross coming from the US & Canada).
