I played this game when it first came out and it was fun for awhile despite the bullshyt. Literally had people hacking the game left and right on the pc side. On the Ps3 side as soon as they came out with the green lantern powers they showed what kind of bullshyt they were on. If you were using the gl powers there was this one ability that would literally stun luck your character for an eternity unless you were hit again. I played as a nature healer. Guy would use that on me. Kill my team as I couldnt move. GG EZ. Obviously this was exploited out the ass by everyone. They released the green lantern powers right after they merged the servers if I remember right so it was like your parents hyping up christmas then giving you a box of shyt when the day arrives
I was on the Blood will run server in the best pvp group and as soon as the green lantern powers came out you had people blatantly exploiting the game, being caught red handed , and never receiving any punishment for it because they just gave Sony money so of course they get to do whatever they want. Game became pay to win in my eyes

Meanwhile the guys that grinded out gear were told it was too good and all the time you invested in finding rare items was a waste of time. People said well why dont you make the pvp gear better or mechanics more complicated so you didnt have people in raid gear one shotting you in the pvp gear it took months to grind and they just never really gave a legit answer or gave a shyt about the pvp aspect of the game. Heroes were told que times were going to be shorter due to the server merge(bs), and you were basically forced to play villain if you wanted to have pvp with reasonable times. There was more to it but I have already typed too much

They basically made every power set the same to. Tryna create balance. Now it just the same animations with different colors

They had the balance fukked up from the rip. I remember my friend was a fire dps and all he would do was spam meteors. At the end of every raid he would do the most damage no matter what and no one questioned it. Had almost everyone on my server trying to re-roll their characters and shyt. But even with the inflated dmg it was still a million times better than ice, gadget, or mental. shyt was jokes

I think my name was masta killa or some shyt. Then I quit and came back as the inventor of the slap. I stop playing that game years ago and I can't see myself playing that shyt ever again. Mmos take to much of your time

Prolly taken bout that mutha Fuka Hactuni me you and @Based Cheiftan was from the same server, First person I can tell actually played the game. This was pretty spot on, Fire would out Dps everything you remember the pistol full auto damage. The cycle still the same once a month a class is broken right now Munitions is some bullshyt in pve. And Hardlighy for pvp been cheap for like 2 years

Dude was from Final Chapter league, once Ice got reflect needed he got shyt and quit, ice was Mac wild I would do 1v1 at FC as ice with no pvp gear and some MA and wash people up.

I figured the GL powers would be op once they said they were going ftp.


Was gonna play Champions Online but it never got released on 360. So I played this at the start too.

First rolled a Fire user with superspeed, fukking hated getting stuck on poles
Then rerolled another Hero who used sorcery and flight. Flight and dual pistols

Then psn went down, came back, played for awhile, than they announced they were going ftp. Too many of the people I had played with started leaving. Think I stopped playing after the second Fortress of Solitude raid.




Someone should try doing another superhero mmo. Console is the perfect place for it
