Ive only played the single player and i can say without a doubt its worth 20 bucks.

Doom is an excellent game and I dont regret paying $48 for it.
Fun as hell right from the jump. One of the few games recently that I played all the way through before playing anything else.

The game frequently gets put on sale, even on PSN it seems to have been on sale since like day one. It's weird because it's one of the best pure FPS games in a while (outside of a shytty non-ending) yet it seems to largely be ignored by the gaming continuity.
