Serious note, the Over The Top rule itself was one of those things where Wrestlers probably forgot that it existed. They probably just do that shyt, and fans would look at each other and think, "Was that a Disqualification?"

They used that rule in a storyline toward the end of it's life in 1997. Buff Bagwell had defeated Lex Luger on a few occasions because Lex would carelessly throw him over the top rope like a lunkhead. Afterward, Buff would get in the ring and celebrate like he just won the Super Bowl while Lex stood there like . That was their entire build up to their match at Starrcade 97. I think that rule officially died at the beginning of 1998. Mercifully.
