Hibbert had no speed, no hops, no athleticism whatsoever, DJ can run the fast break with you for an alley oop, he can come up to the top of the key to defend. I ship Tristan JR and D-will, and Korver for DJ with no f*cks given.

The man showed out in Game 7 for like 10 boards DJ averaged 13 points on 71% FG , 14 boards, and 2 blocks per game in 2016. How is this even a debate? Between Love and DJ opps wouldn't get one offensive rebound.

Deandre Jordan had the most defensive rebounds and was #6 in blocks. Gobert isn't available, and DJ is the most athletic center, there's a reason the Mavs wanted him. With a good pick n crash system and a good passing PG DJ is dominant. Clips aren't a playoff team without DJ. I'll admit Gobert has him on stats somewhat but if I need someone to hold it down in the paint defensively I'm taking DJ 10 out of 10 times.

Tristan isn't providing any offense either, and Deandre is actually a lot better at catching lobs and finishing around the rim. He opens the team up to Hack-a-Shaq tactics, but I'm not sure if Kerr is trying that in a Finals anyway. Tristan was essentially neutralized (and damn near eliminated in some games) by Zaza Pachulia, he's not doing that against Jordan.

Deandre could be valuable to many teams. Even if he has no shot and can't hit FTs, he's arguably one of the best if not the best roll man in the L, extends possessions with his off rebounding and finishes at the rim at elite/historic levels.
