Religion offers nothing.

Fact.

You don't need god to be an active human being. Just get over it.
No. YOU, individual, don't. Not everyone is you - accept that; railing otherwise is just as bad as hyper-evangelicals trying to bully someone to believe what they do by endlessly quoting scripture.

Yes it does because as I said..the premises was that black people believing in illusory concepts exempts them from being pro black

This thread has nothing to do with proving god exists stop trying to change the subject u fukkboi :mjlol:

And the concept of human rights and human worth is an illusory concept in the same way religion is..yet that is the major vehicle that has caused us to fight against racism...

So believing in the illusion of religion and the illusion of human rights and worth outside of state is the same thing in this discussion and the latter has been the major vehicle for the fight against racism

Yet according to you those individuals aint pro black :mjlol:

Again how stupid u sound u homotional ass nikka :dead:

I dont file that because the crusades were used by the kings of europe who were Broke and starving at the time to steal gold from everyone in their lands and into what we call the middle east, driving the men we know as Moors from their lands in the process.

The Spanish Inquisition which ironically began on the same year the moors were driven from Spain revolved around a similar conflict. A cleaning of house using religion demonically against people they did not want in their country.

Sadly, you didnt know this until i informed you just now, friend.

You arent talking to a dum dum friend. Im like, know stuff, friend. They had nothing to do with Christianity.

The fact that the Crusades were used by the Kings of Europe is another example of how religion has always been used by the elite ruling classes.

I'll just leave this here. It's cool tho pro black people have been praying to God for over 2 thousand years.

Oh I forgot. It was forced on our ancestors.

Acts 8:27 KJV
And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

We do have evidence of her and know all about how she reigned. Very religious. Even fought the Romans and lived.

At a high level? Accountability.

Not everyone is necessarily disciplined enough to hold themselves in check when it comes to their decisions or actions, particularly when no one's looking; I think there are a lot of themes in the major organized religions that offer a good template to live by.

There's also community. Some people seek that in fraternities; others with their work; or they create communities with their friends or neighbors, or stay close and involved with their extended family. For those that don't have that (for whatever reason), shared faith can provide.

Social consciousness and obligation is something that religion touches on. Helping others is a theme in pretty much every organized religion. And like I said, the overwhelming majority of atheist simply aren't motivated to do that unless it DIRECTLY affects them. Religions challenge you to go beyond that.

None of these are exclusive to Christianity; and I don't think these are bad things. They're definitely applicable to furthering the black community, and if they're things that you want to see develop despite religious influence then that's fine as well - but don't knock anyone who uses religion as motivation.

See, this is a topic that Black folk will fight to the death about. ALL because the majority of us grow up with people who PRAISE JESUS!

How can you STILL practice something that was used to manipulate & enslave your ancestors? That's like being sad your moms died of Cancer so to get revenge your dumb as$ start smoking 6 packs a day. On some "Yo Cancer, when I die it's me & you Breh!! You took mom-Dukes so I gotta f##k me up first ... then I'm f##kin you up BREH!!" :what:

Look, I'm not perfect nor do I claim to have the "RIGHT" flawless beliefs; HELL, I wouldn't even call myself "Pro-Black" but I think not using common sense when analyzing the past will lead you down the as$ crack of karma instead of to a better future. :manny:
