Its still bullshyt and to even be gullible as a culture/society just makes you that much weaker as an entity that wants to assess how reality works and how to make strides
There have been no great Atheist empires.
And "how reality works"

So?you talk about religion, more than any religious person i know..
This has no bearing on whether or not these mythical figures exist or not. There have been no great Atheist empires.

I'm at work and its a slow day.@Napoleon I'm an atheist but damn nikka what do you do with your life outside of the coil?
Even though I'm athiest i still break bread with religious folk and get shyt done in my community. Religious preference doesn't matter when shyts being accomplished.
Second of all, you're not even for the cause with your anti Africa comments. FOH.
Some people dont need a God or Allah or a Lwa to help them channel their energy in effort to accomplish things. Some do. But again, this applies to all humans. I fail to see your "pro-black" claim and how religion would impact itThats one person. Many of the people he learned from and worked with were NOT religious.
Remember, religiosity in this country grew mostly in the 80s
A lot of revolutionaries were NOT religious.
What do you mean by "greater power?"
Its a flawed concept ENTIRELY and to even invest in such a notion is the result of a misunderstanding of both the question itself and a lack of awareness as to why the notion is flawed.

Sounds great.Edit: I misunderstood the thread at first![]()

and yes, reality engages in the pursuit of knowledge. You can't do that by presupposing fantastical "gods"

I AM right and I believe you're inherently harmful via religion to the intellectual health and welfare of anything relating to the black community.you know exactly what i mean. God. Higher Power. Allah etc...
naw breh...its flawed to you. we dont have to believe your bullshyt...
this is the problem right here....nikkas think there opinions right and everybody else's are wrong...
you be pro-black the way you want...and i'll do it my way.![]()

Honestly, while I think a lot of things about organized religion are bullshyt, that 10% thing especially, that would mean that people can only focus on one thing. Or that they're obligated to for some reason.
It seems that anyone with a basic understanding of history would know that people who made great leaps and bounds forward in all realms, a lot of the time, were religious.
Islamic Golden Age - Muslims didn't seem to have a problem with it.
Look at the rise in the religious-morality movements of the 80s.And religiosity only became a thing in this country in the 80s? What country did you grow up in? lol
