I sincerely believe that at this point.

If people really want to push aims, any sort of mental or intellectual or ideological hinderance to facing the truth of how the universe works or what the latest knowledge in any scientific or rhetorical field is ultimately detrimental.

Religiousity is a tool which is used to control a group of people who would much rather be served by applying their energy in more practical ways and investing that energy into more useful intellectual pursuits.

Every 10% given to a church is money that can be used for a personal investment of self or community venture.

Every hour spent on reading religious texts could be spent on school-work or round-tables to create businesses and political agendas.

Every thought devoted towards the acknowledgement of a deity is a waste of energy better devoted towards embracing reality and taking useful advancements in the welfare of themselves and those around them.

If you're pro-black and really want to see society win, religion MUST go.

As long as people are slaves to that mentality and even invested in the INVESTIGATION of religious claims (and this includes all forms of pseudoscience, quackery, and general ignorance towards logical fallacies or cognitive biases) then they can never truly be immune from the mental and PHYSICAL captivity they find themselves in.

Black people are religious because we're innately tribal and clannish. We are not tribal/clannish like other races who become sheeple and one image. Being around each other gives us the will to go on. We are only this way because we realize the church serves to shelter us physically, mentally, and spiritually from this cold world we were born in. As long as black folk feel threatened and unwelcome in this world there will be some type of "church". Look, as I got older I moved away from the church because of awareness and inner growth. However, regardless of a local Pastor, or a TD Jakes, Benny Hinn, anyone with common sense can step outside and see that there is something greater than life that is beyond science and logic and man can't create none of that.

Atheism is nothing but another nickname for satanism. Humble yourself bruh before it's too late. That second death ain't nothing to play with:merchant:

wow.

Do you not realize that black Muslim in America help black people to not think of themselves as mules? They were some of the first and def the most effective of instilling black pride in the masses in the first place. You think Malcolm X was the only one? Or do you of course think X is a c00n too? We wouldn't even be typing on this shyt right now if it wasn't for black muslim and spin off groups creating damn near all the slang we use and pushing hip hop and knwledge. I remember in the 80...and early 90s... almost every single 'conscious' person was at least cool w black Muslims.
Now all we do is divide our people and hate on Muslims just because cac media is hating on white arabs and those white arabs happen to be Muslim,

smh.

Do you believe god exists or not?

Because everything else you're saying can be done WITHOUT believing and perpetuating superstitious nonsense.

The only guiding light religion gave people was a fairy tale that all the suffering they went through and hardships they endured was for some story that lied to them.

Yes, and some have used that "fairy tale" for good, so let them :cook:. Now if you meant to address the extremists who put religion far above their own identity, then I can see where you are coming from.

More superstitious nonsense from the peanut gallery

1. Theres nothing "greater" out there, and its the burden of proof for theists to defend this assertion.

2. second death? Satanism? nikka just go sit somewhere with this dumb shyt.

3. you're an atheist with respect to all the other gods you don't believe in. dead that.

Extremists are the best examples of religion. Moderates are those who make a mockery of their "faiths" with their inability to abide by them.

you're right, but I DO know Christians and have never met one extreme enough to strap a bomb to their chest for Jesus, there are endless accounts of "Allahu Akbar's" being yelled as suicide bombers detonate themselves in the name of allah, this is fact and also why I don't need to personally know extremists to reach the conclusions I have.

thx
Nearly all of the white supremacist and black c00ns in America are Christian. Slave ship owners are more extreme to me than suicide bombers.... those bombers are ignorant and political. All the slaves on the slave ship named 'Jesus' were only on that ship because they were black and the owners were demonic. So should be make conclusions based on that?

I don't think so breah.

I don't believe in sectioning off and dividing black people based on belief.

I don't know what you Kuram Kisha Vikram Reddy's believe, but you need to chill out.

I've already said this.

In 2015, with all that we know that clearly debunks everything religions have asserted to this point, being religious is a character flaw
I thought you said they should be. What did you mean by should then.

I do and it may need to be done.

The religiously minded aren't equipped to truly contribute to the intellectual evolution of the black community.
