My wife bought me a PS4 last week. Im still on cloud 9 because I planned to put me one on layaway and get it out either that day after Black Friday, or right before xmas

Honestly, if you wait about a year (or atleast till march) youll have a better of idea of what system to get.

Most of the buffoons saying both are PS4 stans refusing to acknowledge the fact that the Xbox One is the SUPERIOR gaming console with the SUPERIOR game library and will for foreseeable future. If you buy an Xbox One, you will honestly have no need to purchase a PS4 until late 2015. If you buy a playstation, the only truly enjoyable titles unavailable on the competion would be Infamous and the remake of last year's TLOU. Every other "exclusive" has severely dissapointed and underwhelmed. Sadly, this will likely remain the case until whenever Uncharted comes out, as it seems sony has closed down NUMEROUS gaming studios over the past few years due to poor financial performance. Meanwhile, the Xbox One sports the most popular next gen shooter (Titanfall), best next gen racer (Forza), best next gen fighter (Killer Instinct), and numerous other award winning indie titles. Furthermore, with Sunset overdrive, Halo Anniversary, and Forza Horizon 2 coming out, the feast looks to continue into the holidays. The quality gap is becoming laughable at this point, and can't be denied for much longer no matter how much you want Sony to win.
Again, ultimately you need to do your own reasearch, but anyone objectively looking at both systems cannot honestly say that the PS4 provides a better gaming experience than the Xbox One. Sorry.

Get the PS4 or PC. The people on the coli that are Xbox only are vitriolic a$$holes, you don't want to play with those dudes.
How are people still saying this? You look at the exclusive games you liked better in the last generation and you buy the console that has more games you want. Or you get the one you know more people with so you can play against them.
What you should never do is ask online forums filled with fanboys and brand warriors their thoughts on it.
