Debating on a ps4 or xb1

Only 1080p xbox one exclusives are:

Forza 5 - 1993 pit fighter crowds and environments

Forza Horizon -

Most xbox one exclusives are 900p or lower

So... I know NBA wasn't an exclusive, but it was 1080p/60fps

Halo MCC is supposedly 1080p/60fps

I'm sure there's more but I haven't really researched it because honestly, it's not that important if the games still look/play great too

If 1080p is the most important factor in gaming then by all means buy a PS4. I would call you a moron if this is the case, but that's neither here nor there.

Also, if you're boyfriends all play the PS4, then by all means cop that system as well. I never took into account people like @TheStoicGhost factor in they're personal feeling twoards posters when making their system choice. Most people would look at the gaming library, but i guess i'm old fashioned...

You're probably right, as i'm overall a more reasonable person than yourself. I've repeatedly stated ill buy a PS4 during Fall 2015 when Uncharted, God Of War, or Gran Turismo 7 is going to be released. Until then, i'll wait. If you look at the Xbox One's library and feel none of it's exclusives are worth copping the system, then you likely have a poor taste when it comes to gaming.

Superior... Meaning just 1080p right


NBA2k is definitely not superior on the 4... But that's my opinion


And from what it looks like, Destiny isn't superior neither


TLOU is one of the PS3 ports I was speaking about... And unless you care about MLB or ever was a fan of Infamous and Killzone, those aren't games to brag about



Basically OP, get the system that has the games you want to play in the future and what majority of your friends play. Aside from CERTAIN games being 1080p on PS4, there really isn't that much of advantage (especially now that prices have gone down).


I've never been apart of a Stan war, but the negative flack that XB1 gets is ridiculous. Most people love their XB1 and a lot of people admit to PS4 collecting dust already. PS4 has a simplistic, pure gaming machine type form that I do like but XB1 has better, multiple ways to enjoy it including playing video games

All Opinion. I'm not a Halo Stan. Forza doesn't interest me. Sunset Overdrive doesn't. I was interested in titanfall until the details of how bare boned it was came to light. The multiplats will always pale in comparison to the ps4 versions.

To be honest the only game that semi interests me is/was Killer Instinct, but I'm not buying a Larrybox just for that. Not a fan of the way they set it up either.

Lastly, and most importantly, you can't pay me to look past that shyt they tried to pull last year. They showed their true intentions and I will not support that kind of shyt or the vision of a gaming world run by Microsoft

Whoever said the ps4 looks better is just clearly a Stan. XB1 has a sleek look and PS4 is a lil strange with shortass cables.

The whole "it looks like a VCR" was so 2013 breh

I guess we're going to forget about the PS4 wobbling when laying horizontal, having to purchase a stand to sit it upright without falling over, the shortass chords they provided, the controllers short battery life, or the fact that the power and eject button are awkwardly placed

Again... Just my opinion. The best thing about the 4's design is that it doesn't have a brick and is portable

And to continue with the XB1's sleekness, I will add that I like its size. Unless I'm picking it up to take it to a friends house () what do I need to move it for? I'm not 12 anymore.


It's sturdy and it's not going anywhere easily. For example, I had my PS4 controller charging and forgot about it. I picked up the controller and walked away from the TV and almost dragged the PS4 and anything next to t off the tv stand and onto the floor (no thanks to that shortass charge cable they give you neither)

For my XB1, it would've easily just pulled the cable out the controller.. Just like all the other old Xboxes used to do. It wouldn't have budged and even if it did fall a foot or too I'm certain it would still wrk fine.

The controllers are durable as hell too (a mix of the 1st Xbox and 360 controller) and I've definitely tested them. If my PS4 controller hits the ground, I'm kinda certain it's r.i.p.

Xbox one is the more forward thinking machine. They built it to be able to run your entire living room and be very flexible AND to able to play high end AAA games. To do so they had to highly customized the hardware which makes development complicated. Devs that take the extra time have been able to put out some very impressive looking/performing titles. Devs that don't take the time just cut resolution in order to meet performace goals.

PS4 on the other hand is a lot more safe. There isn't much unique customization needed to get the most out of it. Sony basically built an off the shelf mid range computer. It's much easier for devs to reach performace goals without much specific optimization.
