Literally no one considered gwinnett to be Atlanta until the migos came on the scene.

Too $hort lived in L.A. until age 14, Pac from Harlem, Spice 1 from Hayward, even none of the members of En Vogue really from the town either most of them from Frisco.
Even the most popping local rappers who rep Oakland been exposed for not being from the town at all (i.e. Joe Blow). Seem like all of the rappers who are actually born and raised in the hood in ATL or Oakland super local and too hood for mainstream success.
