Accord/Camry/Maxima/Mazda 6. Stay away from Mitsu, Chevy, Ford, Dodge cars.

Avoid German and American and buy Japanese (sans Mitsu) for that amount of money.

You could get a nice Lexus GS which has the 2JZ (reliable), and is stylish... or an IS300.

I would cop a Lex.

Literally just copped a GS last weekend for 3k. 03, black on black with rims, touch screen after market radio, with only 100k miles on it. Great pick up.

Only older Americans i see on a daily basis with 200k+ are crown vics/Lincoln town cars and various Ford & GM pickup or cargo vans

Vast majority of American cars are in the junkyard before they hit 170k or on they second engine/trans

They trash breh, you’d have to be stupid to buy one in 2018. Only American brand with decent reliability in my experiences is Buick
They trucks last 200k miles or more.

The american companies invest in their trucks because a lot people use it for work.

A lot of car dealers want 20k for a used truck with 150k miles :scust:

I’ll agree GM makes some decent trucks :ehh:
Dad had a 93’ GMC 1500 for a long time, easy to work on and practical

Plus a lot of municipal and state governments buy GM truck products, fleet sales are very important
