True. Dee Barnes was also good when she hosted Pump It Up.
It's a shame that getting beat up is all she's remembered for. Sista Dee deserves to be in the same conversations as Fab 5 Freddy, Ralph McDaniel, Ed Lover & Doctor Dre, and all the hosts of Rap City. Dr. Dre was super foul for what he did to her.

I don’t care for Jay-Z, but Facts should be straight.Mushed a girl on camera.........If you put your hands on a woman in public, what are you doing in private?
Allegedly fukked an underage Foxy Brown.
Allegedly fukked an underage girl and has a grown Son by her that Jay has been running from
I'm sure Jay has more stuff in his closet

No dog in this fight, but She chose to settle out of court. Where is the evidence that he blackballed her? Maybe she was seen as a liability and nobody wanted the responsibility. They said her injuries were like she was in a car crash smh....he tried to kill her basically and she has extreme head pain to this day
kinda hard to forget about something when its still fukking with you in 2024
and the people saying she got paid some big(millions) settlement are lying he gave her some chump change and then had her blackballed so she couldn't work in entertainment anymore

Diddy yes, but Cosby paid many alleged victims prior then it got brought back up, more women came forward but I believe the woman he got convicted for is one of the original ones he had settled with. The Dre/Dee Barnes thing was already known and handled in the 90s. Barnes is upset that Dre still prospered after that while she went back into obscurity. Stop falling for surface BS. Like I said, Rihanna doesn't even talk about Chris Brown and that was actually in the 21st century.
BTW, the Diddy and Cosby situations were discovered by the public recently even though they occurred decades ago. Of course, that's going to hit different. Barnes talking about sh1t that was handled back when 80s babies who grew up listening to Dre were in elementary school or were toddlers![]()
People didn’t know he was putting hands on Michel’le like that until that movie came out. And when you do fukked up shyt you have to accept that it’s gonna follow you everywhere you go. I don’t understand the point of your post. The Dre/Dee Barnes thing was already known and handled in the 90s. Barnes is upset that Dre still prospered after that while she went back into obscurity. If that's the case Solange should have received the award instead of Jayngl
i thought about dee barnes
and the fact its called the impact award.

I love Dre and his production, contribution to hip hop, but she's allowed to be mad at him
for as long as she wants. Not my place to say otherwise.![]()
affirmative action benefits more white people than black. Affirmative action is a quota system not exclusively to black folks. If black people knew this, and they don't, they wouldn't always bring it up. White people actually know more of them benefit from affirmative action than us. More white women have benefited from that than we ever could. It also includes MINORITIES!! The term "minority" is not exclusive to black people. It's a quota system in place that often benefits the organization that uses it. So if an organization hires more blacks due to affirmative action, it's for their own benefits. Just like colleges and funding. He did not have Eminem "mock" the situation.
If you listen to "Guilty Conscience", Eminem brings up the situation to give Dre the opportunity to apologize & say that nobody should "go the same route that I did"
Dude has literally apologized to all the women he abused
WRONG WRONG WRONG
Black people went through 400 years of slavery, rape, brutality that CONTINUES TO THIS DAY with ZERO restitution.
We never got reparations and even now they're taking Affirmative Action, which was supposed to be some form of restitution to us.
This woman took ONE asswhooping 35 years ago, got paid for it, and got apologized to, just like all of Dre's other victims.
