I miss street shyt in mainstream rap when a dude like dmx can release get at me dawg as a single. Deep cover by Pun 4,3,2,1 by ll.

And countless others street joint prior to 98. I was like 12 reciting cold as ice by MOP. Damn shame

Ive noticed most rappers nikkaz stan on thecoli r rarely talked about in real life by the people I know or associate with...

Jayz nas kendrick lamar drake rick ross eminem wale jcole lil wayne

I swear most nikkaz i know know who they r but rarely listen to or talk about them...

I also think gangsta rap finna come back in the next few years... N everybody n they momma will be hard again n they gone be clowin nikkaz like jcole n drake for their softness...

Some Black Folk loved being stereotyped and boxed in to stereotypes that cacs give in. SMH

I want another Public Enemy or even a Saigon that talks about overcoming shyt to be a better person than some c00n that "raps for the streets."

That is my opinion. We live in the social internet era. Most street rappers will either get exposed like Ross or go to jail for crime like these dumb nikkas that incriminate themselves. For that reason alone, it ain't coming back.

I would consider Reks a social rapper type, although maybe you're only specifically looking for what you explained above. And of course Reks gets no attention.
