He did way more for Def Jam than the pitiful job these cats are doing. There were plenty of quality releases under him, and they were still selling pretty well then.
No need to try to throw Hov under the bus in defense of these cats.
That's how any record label dinner is gonna look like. Sadly, in America, that's how most executive meetings look like (music label or not). Nothing to show here.
