Word. Mister Carter was the Def Jam mascot the same way Diddy is the Ciroc mascot. Who the fukk in their right mind is taking music advice from Jay Z during his bootleg retirement period yet this motherfukka stayed dropping verses (Dear Summer) and recording with Swizz, Timbo and Pharrell. Them CACs at Def Jam offered him a mascot position to get the fukk away from Dame for good so of course he jumped at the opportunity.

Like I said above, it's a sweet ass deal. Probably the best deal I've seen for a celebrity co-sign. He actually has a say in the direction of the brand, huge cut of the profits. I ain't hatin by no means lol but I always thought he owned at least a stake in ownership.
