I thought the story mode for icon was dope. I liked that you sort of ran your own label. The fighting mechanics was trash tho

Def Jam Icon was a crime against humanity

I remember playing it and desperately trying to like that trash because I had spent money on it

It wasn't that bad, but it was a step in the wrong direction

Coming from someone who also bought ICON, you both are right.

I do think the "change your opponents music/turn table that causes destruction" idea was dope, but that's about it.

The players also moved slow, imo. It just wasn't the same.
