You tell the team up front, if you pick me, I will sit out a year and re-enter the draft the next year while I pursue baseball or another hobby. It is on that team to look and determine if you are bluffing or being serious.

If anyone is beyond their depth it's you in here espousing the idea of "honest business" as if this is a 1950s commercial. The idea of "honest business" is an illusion and any attachment to that illusion is a hindrance in an actual negotiation on the NFL level of things.

That said, a draft by the nature of its conceptual existence is not a negotiation. It's compulsory. If it were a pure negotiation Eli could've spoken to all teams and determined where he ended up. His well connected family did bullshyt and got him what he wanted. You not caring about what Caleb Williams dad got shows that you're not even realizing you stepped on your own argument.

This right here, what has Prime shown to get an NFL gig as of now? He's not some offensive/defensive guru that's bringing his own scheme, never really established an identity with his program and really their weaknesses or ones you cannot have at the NFL level. What he's shown is the ability to bring in better talent and that doesn't translate to the NFL
