There's a physical NFL Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio they benefit from the more people they add to the list. Not to mention all the week long festivities from sponsors and the HOF game itself that the NFL makes money from. Even the players themselves are indirectly benefitting from it as they use their HOF title as leverage for endorsement deals and such.

If you are a LT you need at least 10-12 years of dominant play which means at least 6-8 1st team All Pros

It has everything to do with what Prime is talking about. Why do you think that the NFL insist on adding new members to the HOF each year even if the players don't necessarily deserve it? Look at the bigger picture. Prime is totally correct in his assertion, but he views it completely different than the way the NFL does which is my point.

The NFL doesn't give a damn whose truly HOF worthy and who isn't. They just want to use it to make money.

That's my point though that you keep looking. The sooner you realize that it's just all a money making venture for the NFL, the better. It's the same concept when teams do jersey retirements or Ring of Honors in that you'll have some guys who deserve to be in there with others who arguably don't. That's just how it is.
