The HOF hasn’t changed it’s standards. You are only old enough to realize who actually makes it. People were having these conversations about players who made it before you were born.

And there are unofficial tiers. A first ballot HOFer is seen differently than a player who made it on their ninth attempt.

Exactly what I came in to say. It’s not easier to get in the HOF today. A lot of people are reaching the point now where they watched the entire careers of players getting in as it happened, rather than older players who they just have to go off whatever the narrative is because they didn’t actually get to see them.

Some of these dudes better be thankful to God they can walk , think and still feed themselves and play with their grandkids.

Having watched the aftermath live and direct personally struggling post NFL with your body breaking down and signs of CTE ain't no walk in the park. That's what Coach Prime needs to speak on. Sadly it's a vested interest all the way around. The well being of a player is still an afterthought.

If you watch the clip this article is based on, you'll see Prime wasn't all that serious in what he was saying. He definitely thinks too many people make it into the HOF, but the way he said it was moreso barbershop banter than the humorless rant(they know exactly what they're doing when they use that word) this article makes it out to be.
