He didn't go after Marcus Smart or some of these Plano West dudes, but he used to be chasin Sergio Kindle and dudes like Emmanuel Mudiay and Jordan Mickey when they left their suburban schools to go to Prime Prep. Didn't say nothin about Kyler Murray mysteriously transferring from Lewisville to Allen. Brett takes his orders from George Riba and Dale Hansen, the dudes that took down SMU in the 80s.

Maybe I framed that incorrectly. You always hear the arguments that giving more money to the urban/rural schools will increase performance. I just don't see the correlation as something that will solve the issue.

I do think that more money would improve the conditions of the school and prevent the overcrowding and reduction in programs that is going on, but ultimately I don't think it solves the core issue of needing to place a greater priority on education.

Both of my in laws are retired teachers who taught in rural and urban areas. The biggest issue they had when they retired was the fact that a lot of the power that the teachers had in the past has been stripped down to the point that they can't do shyt. The no child left behind laws ensure that administrations "pass along" cats who have no business being advanced just to prevent the schools from losing their federal funding. Parents taking the word of their kids over the teachers and shyt.

I dunno man, sorry for the rant. But I just don't believe that money is the key.

You're absolutely right. A few of my friends are high school teachers and the issue is exactly the same. Some teach in pretty affluent districts and others in poorer district, but the common thread is that they feel their hands are tied. Parents want THEM to basically raise their kids. They bring up how bad Johnny's behavior has been and it's the same old response ever time: "he doesn't do that at home"

I can think of a few cases that Brett was all over: Keith Frasier going to Kimball, Sergio Kindle going to Woodrow, anyone going to Prime Prep. Jordan Stevenson going to SOC, Emmanuel Mudiay and Jordan Mickey going to Prime Prep. He used to always mess with Carter and SOC back in the day. They still messin with Glendon Alexander, lol.

But he was never there when Marcus Smart showed up a Flower Mound Marcus, living with Phil Forte, lol. Julius Randle shows up at exclusive private school the next year. Allen ends up with a gang of nigroes that weren't in that district. Deion Sanders Jr going from Cedar Hill to Flower Mound Marcus when neither parent lives in Flower Mound.

The thing is, the cheating north of 635 is rampant. Dudes just straight up getting adopted by white families and nobody says anything. Instead they were more concerned about basketball in South Dallas for some reason in a football state. Don't let Skyline win state. That 'cism will be textbook.
