It was a fight. It got out of control. Someone got killed. Yes someone should be held accountable. But life long incarceration and the death penalty is doing too much. And for me to see adults calling for black children to be treated like that is something I can't support.
Of course that confuses you because I'm being logical. Children make mistakes and the school and the adults involved are accountable for this shyt. I dunno what you do professionally, but I've worked at schools and along side children for a long time. This is my professional opinion as a black man.

And it is ironic because here youre extending all these bullshyt excuses for these students who clearly had the intent to seriously injure this poor girl and succeeded, resulting in what is unequivocally a senseless murder. funny how that works, maybe you're no different than them Asians who look out for their own just like you're doing here.

Mistakes have consequences. In this case prison isn't a harsh punishment.

You don't know me. I'm obsessed with food and money. You're jumping to conclusions and deep in your feelings. I'm not changing my position because you disagree with me. I do not support the life long incarceration of children and I don't support the death penalty for children. If you can prove to me the girls intended to kill this girl we can have a discussion. Until then, my position remains the same.
You're dismissing the victim's accountability and the schools. Again, I've worked with schools and kids for years and I know if some girl got killed on my watch I'd be held accountable for that because they're kids and they're supposed to be supervised by adults.

How can you constantly supervise all the kids? How can they be supervised in the fukking bathroom? You're sounding illogical and you're thinking too emotionally. 16 years old is old enough to be held responsible for a crime such as this. They deserve at least 10 years, IMO. Anything else is a disrespectful to the deceased's family.
I attended this school in high school. We known for being wit the shyts. But at the same time having some very bright students.

This is exactly what I mean. You want revenge. You want to destroy these girl's life because they killed her. I understand that. But I don't operate like that. I'm reviewing the facts. Of course they should be punished for murder. But a life sentence and the death penalty isn't fair. I think them having a felony on their records for life after serving time in prison and paying restitution is fair. They'll only live a half a life at this point. Which is fair given the fact they killed home girl. The death penalty is excessive. If they planned to kill her that's a different conversation.
Why do we have to be the ones who are morally superior to everyone else? Why do we have to lead in that regard? No one else does it in regards to us.It's funny when you guys claim that you hate racism but then you end up acting exactly like the people you hate..
