I was in hindsight thinking about my ex’s friends. Only ONE didn’t have drama. One husband was sneaking to stripclubs, one was chasing a whitedude who treated her like shyt (sloppy white dude too) and was an ex junkie, two were single with like 8 kids, etc…Single friends are the worst; they'll low-key do anything to sabotage. But let her tell it, it was me and my people that were the problem. None of my homies did any of the dumb shyt her friends did…

Idk… I didn’t even judge her friends either but they stayed in our shyt.

I don’t care about friendships with the opposite sex. I’m married and I have male and female friends. My husband has male and female friends. Personally, i think it’s healthy. But we discussed this type of thing early on. Also we have respectful boundaries and are quick to cut people off when they can’t handle them.
I don’t think you should have to lose people just because you get in a relationship. Time spent might look a little different but as long as nobody is trying to be dirty or cheat, it’s fine IMO.

When u are in a relationship, some people in your life can get territorial. They not even trying to fukk you. But they get scared that they’ll never be able to talk to you again when you get cuffed. So it comes out in weirdo behaviors sometimes and your partner can pick up on it.
And sometimes it’s a big nothing burger but people hear the worst takes about relationships and be primed for fukkery. These days people are OBSESSED with cheating and getting cheated on. That shyt can make u create issues where none exist.
But sometimes…it really is some fukk shyt playing out. Humans. We got all kinds of stuff going on.

yea I hear you; I bring it upon myself. last time we had a table with friends I went to the bar 2 order a round of shots for the table; started flirting with a girl at the bar at least 10 years younger then wifey with her titles all out; that hoe was getting gassed up 2.... wifey flipped TF out rightfully so
