yeah, to TWO TOP TEN TEAMS ON THOSE TEAMS HOMECOURTS!

Duke being the defending champions with everyone back except Battier.

Look, im tryna help you because you sound foolish right now saying Arizona and Oklahoma were "mediocre" in 2002 or that Maryland should cry about losing to a Duke team that ended the season ranked #1 and were defnding champions. (and Maryland clobbered Duke in the return game)

fam, if you not a college bball fan forreal you dont have to be in this thread. :heh:
Don't get mad because I don't agree that Maryland was some all-time great team :manny:

I think people don't understand what it took last night for Notre Dame to have a chance, they didn't have a turnover for almost 30 minutes of play. I mean, that is incredible and they still lost the game in the end even though they damn near played a perfect game.
ND played well, but they were far from perfect. Most people thought they would've had to make a bunch of 3's just to stay competitive and only made 4.

Even though they didn't shoot as well as they usually do they probably still win if they continued to run their offense instead of letting Grant just go 1 on 1 the last 3 minutes.

This is the best team to me of all time since I been watching because of their bench. I liked UNLV's 90-91 starting five squad better, as well as UF (Noah and Horford), Arizona lead by Woods, Jefferson and Arenas better, the Fab Five and Duke (Hill and Laettner five better). This is the best team ever because no one was signing to a team with 5 All Americans already on the team till this one and done era. The era lead to this team and yes they deserve credit for it as well but this wasn't happening in 2004, 1994 or 1984.

Either you a chatty patty or you know him personally. Black Panther, you dating Karl or something? You cute and look young if that's you in the avi so I wouldn't doubt it but how you know his personal biz?

Lol,

I'm a breh. Yes, I do know his father personally. He was actually my teacher in Job Corps. He talks about his son, and even bring his son on the campus once in a while. Humble kid too.

breh, we passionate fans but I will never say that the 1998 Nigeria Soccer team was the best team in the world based on what they did in Athens in 96' regardless if I was there or how much of a fan I am. What I am saying is chill, you doing too much. Dixon was 163 pounds breh. 163 pounds. Stop it.

Arkansas is a good team. UGA was a decent team as well Florida. Down year for the conference and no one can deny that but let's act like UNLV played a stronger schedule? Didn't think so and they played a solid non-conference schedule.
UNLV were defending national champions and had everyone back. They were proven. This Kentucky team isnt similar.

@mastermind, your nuts if you think Dixon or Blake is anywhere near the same league as Grant. fukking nuts.
Juan Dixon was a 2 time First Team All American, ACC POY, and shoulda been National Player of the year were it not for Duke dikk licking. (which is why the ACC POY means more to everyone in the conference)

He was a better college player than Jerani Grant. Juan Dixon would not have shot his team out the game like Grant did last night.

Where did I say they were?

I said they would beat this Kentucky team. Kentucky could go undefeated and wouldnt beat a lot of the title teams of the last 30 years.

Kentucky had a couple months where they didn't play a solid team. They very well could be the best team in a long time but you wouldn't know it by the schedule they played. The SEC was terrible. Florida had nothing. LSU was meh. Arkansas was "ok". Everyone else sucked. If Kentucky plays in the ACC they very well could have lost a game or two. It is what it is.

:manny:
But they didn't so......

The one and done rules changed the game. Just imagine if Duke had Lebron for one season. Cuse had Melo and that was enough to win a National Championship. How many great college players transition from that era. A shyt load of busts from that draft in college alone. Maryland had one of worst track records at that.
Breh we were comparing how 2002 Maryland would fare against 2015 Uk. U said the game has changed a lot and that that Maryland team wouldn't have fared well against this UK team. In what way doe seat u just said have to do with the game changing so that uk would be that much better than 2002 maryland?

You'd have to be an all-time great team to beat a team that goes 40-0.

Not saying Maryland wouldn't win, I am saying it would be more like Villanova beating Ewing's Hoyas than Duke beating the Fab Five in the title game. It would have to be a miracle.
