So a team that has attained the best record ever in college basketball history with maybe 5 first rounders is supposed to lose to this long list of teams you guys have already listed. Interesting.
nikkas that would've been lottery picks stayed 3-4 years. The great teams back then were better. That's a fact

This is the best team to me of all time since I been watching because of their bench. I liked UNLV's 90-91 starting five squad better, as well as UF (Noah and Horford), Arizona lead by Woods, Jefferson and Arenas better, the Fab Five and Duke (Hill and Laettner five better). This is the best team ever because no one was signing to a team with 5 All Americans already on the team till this one and done era. The era lead to this team and yes they deserve credit for it as well but this wasn't happening in 2004, 1994 or 1984.

He's black, but I'll let that one cook. His mother is Dominican and his father is African American. His pops is hilarious and a down to earth man. He doesn't like Dominican food , he rather eat his soul food. Humble family.
Either you a chatty patty or you know him personally. Black Panther, you dating Karl or something? You cute and look young if that's you in the avi so I wouldn't doubt it but how you know his personal biz?

Everything is ALWAYS better "back in the day" :troll:
nikkas like 954 don't know what the hell they are talking about. This team has 6 current 1st round prospects and 3 that will be 2nd rounders this YEAR. That's unheard of on any level or time period in college Basketball. No one has had their athletic ability plus size at all positions and their currently the greatest defensive team in college Basketball history. It's hard to argue v. this team. Saying Maryland 02 or any other team is nonsense and shows how little you watch college Basketball.

Yes, 2002 Maryland would beat this Kentucky team.
You my homie but this is some utterly retarded shyt to say. Nothing on any level says this would happen. Nothing. A team with Lonny fukking Baxter, Byron Mouton and Chris WIlcox is beating WCS, Towns, Lyles, Lee and Dakari Johnson :mjlol: Even with Steve Blake being better than Andrew, that size would bother Blake to a degree. Then you have Booker and Harrison for Juan Dixon and Sean Nicholas. Don't disrespect the game like this. I know you a Maryland fan but UK is an All Time great team. You mention them with the 92 Duke, 91 UNLV, 96 UK, 06 Gators, 95 UCLA, 81 Indiana, 84 GTown and 83 Houston. Clearly those UCLA teams of the 60's and 70's as well as the SF of the 50's as well. Maryland wasn't on that level. Not statistically or talent wise. They might be great as a fan stance for you but in a serious convo, leave them out.

Could 02 Maryland beat this team? Sure, UK was one shot from losing to ND last night, so they aren't unbeatable.

But are they an overall better team all time versus this UK team, hell naw.

Exactly, Villanova beat Georgetown in the NC Title Game. Nuff said but is anyone saying that was even close to as good as that G'Town team? No, even after the win. Same for NC State beating Houston in a buzzer beating shocker.

Juan and Stevie were grown men and would destroy that back court.

Maryland also had NBA size and length in the front court starting and on the bench.

If that fat nikka from Notre Dame could give Towns problems, which he did yesterday, then Lonny would too.

Kentucky had more talent, but Maryland had a lot of experience and could shoot. (that 2002 team had four NBA players too)

Thats not me saying that Maryland was an all time team either. Just that this Kentucky team isnt that great.

lol @ 02 Maryland :mjlol:
crehs are mad at this truth :ohlawd:

Good point. Uks back court is mediocre AR best this yr
Kentucky would have no answer for there guard play.
yeah they'd be completely lost against their guards - somehow that same year a mediocre Arizona and Oklahoma team weren't lost though. We can also add Duke (by 21 points) and NC State to the teams that had no answers.
