Man I've been having thoughts of checking him out too. My friends look at me dumb when I say "hey anyone know some good young thug to check out?

Where do I start?

Are these "slime season" tapes where its at?

Myself
Strawman where?

Your question was putting words in my mouth.

If you need media push to like something then its not a legit interest.

You're correct. But that doesn't mean that people don't like Young Thug or Scat Music.

Honestly. I like some of his music too, some of it is entertaining. I don't listen to it on the daily but it is what it is. I'm on my Tate Kobane, Pusha T, Trel, Kendrick, Krit, Wale, Trap/ATL/Juicy J, G-Funk shyt. And I'm always checkin for the new shyt but Thug legit got some alright shyt.

I'm not saying it's the best but some of it is okay. He's Young so he's got some Young $hit.

Once his music matures (as he gets wiser), if he can last that long. Then he'll have room for longevity in this game just based on how versatile he is methodically

Im saying that if he wasnt pushed by the media not much people would be into him. Most people I see only listen to his popular songs and never touch the older albums once a new one comes out lol.

Without media push the amount of Young Thug fans would be dangerously low lol.
"media push"

Lol, you couldn't be more wrong on this. Fans who've been rocking with Thugger for a minute now have been saying his labels have been constantly fukking up when it comes to promoting his music and that he should be a lot more popular than he is. There's no big corporate conspiracy here, people enjoy Thug's music because he has a unique knack for melody, flow, rhythm, etc and has the pop sensibility and know-how to craft catchy music. In fact a whole bunch of people here became Thug fans after that batch of leaks dropped and flooded the internet with good music, wasn't no "media push" there, it's just good music.
