I can admit this thread was some bullshyt, and it probably never should of been made.
Nah breh, you ain't alone with how you feel ESPECIALLY on this board..hell, even I have issues myself and I work in mental health.
This place is littered with wounded warriors who vest themselves into this forum like it's literally apart of their lives. It's a place to vent, to disguise and to explore without prejudice because they can't adequately accomplish it in the real world. This is pretty much anywhere in the internet where people mass congregate and honestly, there isn't much wrong with that until you become so locked in that you further fukk up your ability to relate to the real world. However, I think when people really start talking about their issues in a serious format...it can be almost as good as talking to a physical person, AS LONG AS the responses nurture positivity, healing and are conducted in truth. While I don't care for people vesting so heavily in the thoughts of online figures, I understand why and know there's more underlying...people need to talk, especially black folks, when it comes to this. The depression, self loathing and other possible mental health symptoms show themselves in the constant black women vs. black men threads and other standoffish posts regarding race, sex, etc..it's all channeled negatively, which is why I don't think TLR is the best environment for such a conversation to be had since this is a dumping site for bullshyt.
