Demar really sees zero issue with getting swept by the Cavs in consecutive years, thats the only explanation for this.

If they actually made it seem like he wasnt gonna be traded and then traded hom thats dirty. With that said trading Demar was a good move, they wasnt winning shyt with him and Lowry at the helm

I got to hand it to the breh - he improved his game every year. He really did. Even after he got the big contract.
What he isn't able to understand tho is that simply improving his game wasn't enough. He also had to put those improvements into practice and produce when it counted most.
And he fell short. In a real embarrassing way - swept as the 1 seed. No shame in losing to Bron, but the fact that he couldn't even take a game or 2 off the Cavs was the end of Demar in Toronto.
Whether traded for Kawhi now, another player at the deadline, or even dumped into space at a bad team for picks, his days in Toronto were numbered.
Lowry's up next. The only reason that nikka still on the Raptors is because the size of his contract makes it damn near unmovable in this environment.
But come summer 2019...dude should expect to be selling his house and getting his affairs in order.

I feel we've been talking about his shytty defense for years or lack of production in the playoffs. If you look on realgm or reddit, those cacs are still crying over it.
I still remember the tepid reactions his resigning got. Nobody thought DeRozan would be getting the 2nd highest salary that summer, behind Mike Conley. I seriously thought they were going to move on from him that summer, but they brought him back

He isnt suddelnly going to be an elite defender,hes isnt suddenly going to hit 3s at 40%,he isnt suddenly going to stop taking mid range shots...
He isnt in his 3rd season in the league,when your this deep in ur career you are what you are....hes not improving.
hes a 20-25 PPG scorer who will shoot 25 from 3 on limited takes and is a below mediocre defender,average rebounder and below average playmaker...
