It's easy to buy into media narratives when you haven't really seen someone play. I don't think any of these talking heads in the media have ever seen him play on a regular basis.
If they knew he was getting scored on at will by Doug McDermott, Gerald Henderson and Nik Stauskas, they wouldn't think he would magically become a competent defender. He's 27, he's someone who shoots a lot of long 2s, he takes a lot of shots to make shots and he's a competent passer.
Its illogical to think hes going have a bump playing in a system thats going to neuter him....He wont have free reign in SA he had in Toronto...I expect his numbers across the board to come down esp his shot attempts.....SA is make the focus on defense for him,i do not believe theyre suddenly going to allow Rudy,LMA and Demar to just chuck....as has been said.
