2 straight Elite years? :sas2: :whoa:
HUndR2P.png

Last year he was
Yards 10th
TDS 6th (tied with 5 others)
YPG 5th

He's had (1) straight Elite year, and now hes going to try to cash in as the TOP rb in the league, that is the issue I have here. I am not saying hes a bad running back, but its just funny how he plays 3 injury filled seasons, 1 ok season, 1 great season, now hes talking about "I would love to see how they replace me" in which he means... "I want top 1-2 rb money"

So by your "elite" comment... what is Forte? Charles? Morris? Lynch? Lacy? Shady?
Dog, you keep posting these charts that disprove your point. Murray by FAR has the least amount of carries on that list and he's RIGHT THERE with runs of 20+ yards and TDs. He also has the highest YPC on that list. What exactly was that chart supposed to prove? That Murray is elite when healthy? Well, we already knew that.

He had an elite year IMO...look at the attempts he had (217). Next person close to it is at 259. He also did it at 5.2 a clip. 27% of his attempts went for first down. If he had as many attempts as Shady he would have slightly more yds and maybe 5 or 6 more TDs than him IMO. That's impressive. Jerry needs to pay that man:sas2:

Thank you...dude just starting watching football or something. He didn't even take into account the number of carries and the ypc for a RB:mjlol:. Those are more of a telling stat about a RBs season than the number of yards they ran that yr to me:yeshrug:

Marshawn ?

If i remember right now dude has more carriers in the last 3 years more than any back well over 300 closer to 400 :lupe:

the most carries marshawn lynch has ever had is 315

take a look at this

416 - larry johnson = done

larry johnson 416 carries - never rushed for more than 900 yards again was done in the nfl a few years later

jamal anderson

410 - retired 3 years later only ran for 1,000 yards once more averaging 3.6 yards per carry

james wilder

406 - had one more season where he rushed for over 1,000 yards (3.7 ypc) and was done a few years later

eddie george - done, terrell davis - done, ricky williams - done, demarco murray :lupe:

eric dikkerson is the only back who beat the trend

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Dallas can easily replace him. His carries can be distributed. One back can get 280 and the other 120. The more this nikka talks the more he's feeling himself. Like HIS FUMBLE IN GREEN BAY didn't kill the momotherfukkinmenum against Green Bay.

Give no fukks how much he rushes for. ROMO is irreplaceable. Dallas had good backs before Murray. They just couldn't stay healthy so Murray can kick rocks. :camby:.

Murray had every incentive to play hurt and rush for almost 400 yards. It was a contract year. Lets see how much he's willing to play hurt once he gets that new contract.

Cowboys have been making bad decisions for nearly 20 years.

Acting like Murray is easily replaceable would be another. Not saying he can't be replaced, but it's a huge gamble.

He's a smart runner, a good pass catcher.

:what:Between Emmitt and Murray please tell me who was goo but couldn't stay healthy. They were all trash or had one solid yr and fell off.

Felix Jones was more dynamic he just couldn't stay healthy. Marion Barber was decen.. they just thought he was a feature back which he wasn't. Julius Jones wasn't bad neither Dallas never really committed to running the ball for most of Romo's tenure and it showed by how they assembled the offensive line and drafted/signed running backs. Murray is talented by imo he left too many yards on the field over the past 2 seasons. I said it before the gave MBIII that ridiculous contract, don't over spend off the strength of ONE great season. It's no secret the running game improved over the past 3 seasons once they moved Tyron Smith to LT and drafted a center and guard in the first round the past 2 drafts.... and all 3 have stayed healthy in the process. If Murray want's to leave the let him walk. He thinks Dallas won't be the same without him. I beg to differ. Romo going out proved Murray is a complimentary piece.

you can't just decide some random rb is going to handle 280 carries :dwillhuh:

Would you rather he ask for a million dollars a year or something? Do you have a problem with him trying to negotiate his salary as high as possible?

I'm more worried about replacing his pass blocking than his actually running ability...

Any running back who is not struggle cuts could eat behind this line...

shyt any swagboyz fan could tell you that the last 4 regular season games Randle was coming into the game and scoring or ripping off 15 yard runs every time he touched the damn ball...

There are two Demarcco Murray's...

The guy who spent 1 year running behind an elite line and ran for over 1800

The guy who spent all other years NOT running behind an elite line and he missed games in each of those years and was just another 1000 yard back...

So if you are a person saying " I would take Murray"...uh...you got 3 pro bowl linemen and a pro bowl caliber blocking tight end for him to run behind...

Cause if you don't...then guess which one of the 2 Demarcco's you are going to get...
