When Love was on the floor for the Wolves they were one of the better teams in the league. The wolves sucked because of injuries and no depth at all as their bench was statistically one of the worst in the league even though the starting unit was regularly top 10-15

yea they even came close to a playoff spot with a ton of injuries one year when the west was really deep.

this year the west is just top heavy. the kings should be competing for a playoff spot. idk if cousins is the problem but they shouldnt be this bad, especially on the defensive end.

And people talk about other parts of this forum :what:
Are you kidding me:dead:

This is the problem with the internet. nikkas laugh at stuff when they have no idea what they're talking about. But I'ma hit you with these numbers and I'm betting you have no response:

- 2013-14 Wolves starters among the top 5 units in the league:
Players: Corey Brewer, Kevin Love, Kevin Martin, Nikola Pekovic. Ricky Rubio

The Minnesota Timberwolves aren't mathematically eliminated from a playoff berth, but in all likelihood, it'll be another year without the post-season for Kevin Love. His individual defense, and the Timberwolves defense as a whole, has everything to do with why they won't see any postseason action. Their offense, however, created a powerhouse unit powered by Love and Nikola Pekovic.

Pekovic is a monster in the low post, and Love's ability to space the floor clears up the restricted area for him to go to work. David Lee can't help Andrew Bogut here because he can't leave Love on the perimeter.
The Timberwolves are at their best when they're using Love in every capacity. He's one of the NBA's most talented players, able to score, rebound and pass at elite levels. The rise of Nikola Pekovic has been made easy because Love draws so much attention from opposing frontcourts.

The floor spacing also allows Pekovic to hone in on the offensive glass. He grabs 12.8 percent of all available offensive rebounds while Love is on the floor with him, according to NBAWowy. This lineup is successful for plenty of reasons, but it all comes back to Love. This is the lineup he's logged the most minutes with, so naturally it's going to be the best lineup the Timberwolves have. He's an elite player and he affects the game in multiple aspects.

That this lineups is one of the best in the NBA has everything to do with how much better the Timberwolves are when Love is on the floor.

- 2013-14 wolves lineup had highest plus minus of any lineup that played more than 15 mpg other than the Dubs

Awful comparison. The Wolves were in playoff contention with Love and he carried them to 40 wins before he left for the Cavs. Meanwhle a Cousins led team is yet to win 30 games in an NBA season.

You mean Shareef Abdur Rahim

Not this bullshyt thread.

Clearly you don't watch much Kings games

Well we can see you're a Kings fan and a fan of Boogie, so what's the deal with him? How much, if any, of the Kings ON COURT shortcomings would you attribute to him? I'm just asking cause I don't rock with the Kings or watch their games

THIS!!!!

They found one in Mike Malone but when Boogie got sick and missed all those games and they fired Malone, they went downhill and have been going downhill since.

And George Karl aint the answer.
