There are plenty of first hand accounts of how good Lee was. People didn't have cameras everywhere including their pocket in the 70s
Anyway, impossible comparison. There is zero way to tell how good Lee would be in 2023 with the advances in fighting (which he directly helped advance, he's MMA's ancestor), nutrition, medicine and training.
Also, modern MMA is a different world than tournament martial arts or street fighting, where Lee got it in.
There are plenty of first hand accounts of playground hoopers who were better than Jordan
If you have no pro record or data we can quantify than I don't want to hear it. We know who the great fighters are because they were tested against other great fighters. Beating up Lau Xing Mei in a street fight is useless information.
Ali vs Frazier was in the 70's so why are you acting like there was no way of knowing how good a fighter was without camera phones? Great fighters aren't in the street they fight professionally. Bruce was not a fighter.

2. Lots of people from the 1960s and 70s saw and talked about how skilled Bruce Lee was.

Jeet Kune Do was all about mixing and taking the good stuff from each style and throwing the rest away. Add grappling, boom, MMA.

Cliffs:
- Lightning fast
- Excellent timing
- Excellent athlete
- Questionable punching technique by today's standards
- Devastating kick power
The short version, he had ALL the tools, but didn't focus on competetive fighting. Again, he did this 50 years ago, in what could be called a primitive fight era, and today's era built off what he did. Maybe if fighting made you a famous millionaire then like it can today, he would have and we would have a better comparison. I challenge you to find people that saw him in person and said he couldn't.
