I think they still would have voted for him.

I think that's a distinction without a difference when it comes to being "an effective messenger" for the Republican base.

Democratic voters these days tend to be more educated and a bit more affluent, so having candidates who can actually communicate policy well matters to them.

Republican voters, on average, have lower formal education levels, and a lot of the base gravitates toward low vibration conspiracy stuff and culturewar messaging. Trump’s VERY effective into tuning into that.

Generally confused how this confusing lol

I think Democratic politicians have a difficult time answering yes or no questions with a yes or no. Being able to get into the nuts and bolts of policy is great but not if you use policy as a shield to obfuscate your position on issues. If Jeffries is going to keep accepting AIPAC money then I think him saying yes is less harmful to him than him very obviously not saying yes to a question for which the answer is yes.

I'd be curious to know if average Democratic voters really care about policy much more than Republican ones.

I dunno.

There’s a banned poster who would asks leftists should trans women be allowed to play sports with women and should our immigration laws be enforced and he never got a yes or no answer.

That’s a clear difference. Putting your name on the group project after doing nothing and getting an A isn’t being effective it’s literally just showing up.

Again you can say the Dems suck without finding a way to pull a W outta ya ass for Trump.

I’ll go even further. I don’t think people here have any trouble understanding dem politicians when they lay out their positions.

I’d argue the issue isn’t that they aren’t communicating effectively it’s that people just don’t like what they’re saying.

That’s really it but I gotta get up early and don’t feel like arguing around it all day.

I can't speak to that. Any idea why this upstanding poster was banned?

:manny: he could not show up. Other republicans have tried to run the same playbook and failed. Agree to disagree.

I think it's tough to not draw comparisons, but it can often seem that one group is taking remedial math and the other calculus.

But I agree with you the Dems suck. :troll:

An effective communicator knows his audience and how to get his message across to them. It doesn’t matter if you speak at a PhD level or Eighth grade level, the goal is the same.

Anyone who is able to win the loyalty of 10s of millions and create a cult following of millions is by definition an effective communicator.

Right, exactly. That’s why someone like Zohran can beat those “he’s too left” attacks, he’s just good at talking to people in a way that actually lands. At the end of the day, your message only works if it fits the people you’re trying to reach. Democrats and Republicans are talking to totally different audiences with totally different expectations, so of course the approach isn’t going to look the same.

Reminiscing fondly on the size of Arnold palmers genitals in the waning days of a presidential race isn’t being effective it’s rolling out of bed for people that were going to vote for you no matter what

Some of yall just wanna ride dementia dons tip because yall hate the democrats when you can actually just hate the democrats for free

But I agree with you the Dems suck. :troll:
Let the rebuild continue :salute:

Right. I also don't disagree with the assertion that it's easier for him to do than it is for the Dems.

He's acing the test he's being given. If the question is what is one plus one and he answers purple and it's marked as correct because they liked the confidence with which he answered. I mean it is what it is. The Dems don't have that luxury, could argue they had something close with Obama.

He can do that because he won their trust in 2015 when he read the room and made the decision to throw the dog whistle in the bush in favor of a bullhorn.

MAGA had been waiting for that kind of racist red meat since the 1970s when the GOP started using euphemisms and code words to camouflage their messages. Finally they had a guy who had the guts to speak publicly the way they speak in private.

It’s because they’re trying to not flunk the purity test.

Online leftist think Universal healthcare is a winning argument tells you everything. Most people have healthcare. Is everyone’s health insurance adequate? No! Does that mean most Americans want to tear the system down and have the government explicitly running things. Hell no

The dem candidate that does the Heisman to the purity test and delivers a message about putting Americans 1st, will win.

How Trump threatening companies over DEI is now the next dem candidate should treat offshoring. If you offshore, no government contracts, fines and restrictions

Bernie too. His message is not complicated at all. He assumed correctly that people knew things were stacked up against them. He pointed out the culprit using a simple messaging which he hammered home over and over. The most unsophisticated voter can tell you exactly what Bernie Sanders stands for.

Now contrast that with Kamala and Hillary’s messaging. I follow this shyt daily and I can’t tell you what these two stand for to this day.
