Well I’ve been saying for years that Dems need new ideas
Universal healthcare and tax the rich don’t appeal to a majority of voters
Fortunately, nonsense like lax border laws, criminal justice reforms and trans rights aren’t a part of the Dem platform anymore
This isn't true, both of these things are popular.
It's just that Americans prioritize bigotry over that stuff and are more concerned with things like DEI and trans athletes

The government has enough money to do anything they want to do. Unless you can’t explain Universal tell voters exactly how an increase tax on the wealthy will benefit their everyday lives then it’s not getting people to the polls

It's because most of America would view it as their taxes paying for the healthcare of lazy undeserving minorities. You seem to have this naive idea that people are more interested in voting for things that benefit them than they are at voting to hurt people they dislike.
