nikka thinks he's on the West Wing :laff:

I think in a world where Republicans could be shamed this might be effective. I suspect Johnson spins it "Jeffries wants to debate me? I have better things to do like trying to stop this Democratic shut down." Or something along those lines. Also, not convinced Jeffries wins that debate. Hard to win a debate against someone that's willing to lie or obfuscate the truth and it's not like the media is going to say when Johnson lied. :manny:

jones is a fukking idiot and everyone that endorsed him or shared a stage with him is going to have to spend their time and money doing damage control because of it

spanberger only has a 10 pt lead in polling but as the race gets more national attention that could change quick
Only 10 pts? :dwillhuh: lol

Im sure it'll be closer, but Sears cant get out of her own way. Nobody is associating Jones' bullshyt w Spanberger. To your point, we still have a whole month

Jeffries and Schumer both keep giving us proof points that they are out of touch with 2025 politics.

The problem with the dems is they don’t know the importance of attention which is the new currency, AOC gets it why can’t the rest of them :hula: of course it’s stupid for Hakeem to have a nationally televised dressing down of the GOP house leader and expose them for all to see

:troll:

I think you pay enough attention to politics to know how little debates move the needle. That applies even in Presidential elections, who other than high propensity voters (who are mostly Democrats anyway) is tuning in to see this?

Let's say he absolutely dominated, what's the best case scenario? A bunch of voters who were going to vote Dem anyways agreed that he won?

We need leaders who can thrive in non political spaces, THAT audience is who we need to be worried about.

The type of voter who would tune in to watch a debate between the Congressional leaders is probably already voting Dem.

It’d mostly be for viral clips on tik tok and IG of him getting clowned . That’s all debates are good for these days.

So are you saying…. He needs to go on Rogan :troll:

I think engaging in a good faith debate is one thing. Debating someone that is willing to lie, obfuscate, and use alternative facts is another. Idk if Jeffries had that skillset. I think Newsom could do it, Obama could do it, Biden before the limitless pill stopped being effective -- it's not a skill everyone has.

I seriously doubt Johnson agrees as he has nothing to gain

Well that’s everybody in the GOP these days. I’m sure hakeem would drop some good alliteration tho :myman:

I’m sure he won’t and he doesn’t have anything to gain. Being afraid to defend his position makes him look like a bytch to the average person so that’s easy to flip to a win and add to the list of reasons why they shouldn’t be trusted in the future. He’ll probably have something on IG later this week with him using a lot of hand motions saying they can’t even defend their position. This is a game he know he don’t want to debate

Jeffries should just call him a p*ssy, respectfully.

"You already know what it is. Mike is ducking me." Then that stupid ass stance he does.

Why have so many black males turned on democrats? What the fukk happened? Its becoming a very loud minority. No pun.

I have some thoughts but I'm curious what you think. Why do you think black men have turned on Democrats?

(It should be noted that according to Ta-nehsi Coates this isn't what happened, they've simply returned to pre-Obama numbers, if I understood correctly)
