inflation couldn't be controlled (for all intents and purposes). the other things you mentioned are conscious, awful choices, that could easily be corrected
but i'm resigned to the fact that the party has succumbed to cowardice. the same way Republicans are scared of being primaried from the right for "betraying" Trump, Democrats are scared of being primaried from the left, for betraying the cult of progressivism. it is what it is
I primarily care about it as a political liability first and foremost. Additionally, this issue seems to shift under investigation and collapses under its own contradictions. Furthermore, its lack of intellectual rigor and academic or scholastic objectivity suggest to me that this is not a real medical condition but rather a runaway social contagion similar to a Neo-Religious movement.
I think a lot of mental issues are …well…incoherent, but this is the most salient one for me.

It's hilarious how a few years ago when Youngkin was winning on an anti-tranny agenda, you were warning dems were in trouble. Now dems are winning there on a pro-tranny agenda and it's crickets.

That's not how this works. Consensus changes because of new evidence, not because you want it to, or because you don't like the existing one. The current consensus on gender-affirming care is based on decades of peer-reviewed research, cross-verified by every major medical and psychological body. And it says you're WRONG.
