Not a big Mamdani fan but I’m glad Democrats had a huge win across the board. I wish people didn’t have to burn their hands on the iron to know it’s hot though. We should’ve had this turnout last year. Hopefully the momentum keeps going and we can neuter Trump after taking the majority of Congress. spanberger and sherill are the kind of moderates progressives hate, and they had the biggest wins . Mamdani won a glorified Democratic primary, in the bluest place in america. and Frey won his glorified Democratic primary; wasn't that a loss for progressives?

if you think last night was some kind of mandate for every Democrat in the country to drop what they're doing and clone Mamdani, you're badly mistaken

Spanberger win wasn't impressive at all. Its good she won but wasn't impressive to say the least , she went against a bad candidate probably the worst ever and in a state trump personally impacted. This an expected w in a back lash year

I'd say sherill was impressive though not cause reasons you listed but because she held a 2 term democrat governor seat.
