I don't know why yall do this progressive vs moderate thing everyday. Progressives are like 30% of the party maybe a bit more. The rest are just everyday voters imo.
The problem isn't running which ideology is wrong it's the consultant and donor class that is neutering the party. Most things the party fights for like workers rights, social safety net, and civil rights are progressive ideals. But you have a flank of the party still trying to prop up ways of the 80s and 90s.
I think most agree that those types need to be purged. Then we can actually have what progressive want most which is a government that works and represents the people.
We can battle it out in '26 or '28 because that's politics. But one side is a facist cult and the opposition party has leeches inside that are holding things back. Nothing will change until they're gone.

Progressives don’t have power outside of their safe blue areas and ROUTINELY tell democrats voters not to support candidates. (Uncommitted Voters in Dearborn and 2016 after Bernie lost) THEY ARE THE PROBLEM.
