Are the Dems just on the run indefinitely or are they waiting out the clock?
Apparently Texas can keep calling special session after special session but if the dems can wait it out til December it’ll be too late time wise to do new maps. That doesn’t sound feasible tho.

Why are you posting this crap from that piece of shyt?
Because I just wanted to know everyone thoughts on the video. I just didn't want to think I was alone in thinking the same way.

I never watched the video but it seems like every Melanie King political reaction video she uses stuff from Fox News. Personally, I think she's kinda nuts.

@adamjohnsonCHI
I know the 2024 Dem pitch for Gaza was 10% less genocide but Trump’s been in office 6 mo’s, and accelerated the genocide for four, and the two most powerful Dems, Schumer and Jeffries haven’t issued a single criticism of Trump’s Gaza policy. Neither has Harris, Biden or Obama.

2/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
We have zero evidence of any institutional Dem opposition to Trump’s Gaza policy. At this point this can only be read as agreement. A letter proposed by Rep Tlaib opposing mass starvation in Gaza only garnered 18 Dems. 18. a LETTER. This means 239 democrats didn’t give a shyt

3/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
I have no idea how Gaza will “play in 2028” but I think telling millions of liberals that caring Too Much—in any systemic way—about emaciated children on their timelines that theyre somehow Doing A Racism is sowing unprecedented amounts of cynicism with unforeseeable consequences

4/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
The leaders of our ostensibly leftwing party are either cheerleading or completely silent on the livestreamed starvation, bombing and destruction of an entire people. When pundits wonder why voters are cynical, checked out or conspiratorial I suspect this is a fairly large reason

5/26
@vtlynch1
Maybe you don’t know that Democrats lost the election in 2024?

6/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
If the losing party has literally no power or bully pulpit or any avenues for impacting any change at all, why do any democrats show up to work? Why aren’t Schumer and Jeffries at Sandals beach resort until 2026?

7/26
@notnotlizzie
No matter what Harris says, you’ll be unhappy. ‘It’s not enough’ ‘wish you said this during the campaign’ ‘why are you using Gaza to gloat about being right’

If you can’t differentiate btwn Harris & Trump, that’s on you. Her issuing a letter won’t change Trump’s or your mind.

8/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
The constituency with whom she has a moral obligation is not me or voters or activists, it’s Palestinians in Gaza who are starving and need all the help they can get. She served in an admin that began the genocide, she has an obligation to do everything to stop it.

9/26
@aneerbas
Question: are Biden, Harris, or Obama in office or running for office? If they’re not they do not owe an opinion nor does theirs matter. The ones in office do owe us everything.

10/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
People with large platforms and lots of political influence should speak out against genocide

GwTyj6yWQAAawth.jpg

11/26
@TerpGrad01
But clearly y'all wanted Trump in there so y'all figure it out since you knew better. We had an election to decide this and the people upset with the Biden administration approach chose Trump or stayed at home, which helped Trump. So get somebody else to do it.

12/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
Again the moral obligation is not to “yall” or voters or me it’s to the people of Gaza who are suffering under a genocide the. Biden/Harris’s admin began

13/26
@SterlingRettke
"Dems said they would be better on Gaza had Harris won; they've been clearly proven right thus far; here is why it is the Dems fault"

Lmfaoooo man you really have some talent here keep it up. You want them to issue a strongly worded letter to get Trump to stop supporting Bibi?

14/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
Jeffries and Schumer are the most powerful Democrats in the country with a lot of power. I assure you they can do more than issue strongly worded letters. Indeed they routinely build opposition movements in congress to Trump, some even successful

15/26
@peachpolitique
The "silence" of former office holders is the problem? So the fascists who hold all power CURRENTLY funding and actively supporting this aren't worth mentioning? The fact that you guys never condemn Republicans betrays you entire pov as bullshyt. Have a nice day. @briebriejoy

16/26
@adamjohnsonCHI
The tweet literally accuses Trump of carrying out genocide

17/26
@BodhiSeeker
To be fair, Biden probaby doesn't know it's even happening.

I remember the fallout from the Iraq war. It took years for public opinion to reflect people’s opposition, but when everyone finally caught on opposition was the majority opinion. People have already soured on Israel. It will only get worse as time goes by.

21/26
@Tyler324
It's because at the end of the day, what Dem leadership really want are for Americans to stop caring about it. Attacking trump on Gaza doesn't help that.

22/26
@HangleyJr
since the fall of the Berlin Wall & the collapse of Soviet Communism, absolutely nothing in my lifetime has united the American political establishment - Dem & GOP - like the need to support Netenyahu & his coalition, & banish any critics from public discourse. Lock step

23/26
@epreynolds
It’s because they fukking suck.

24/26
@texicago
Those two of all people—two of the most heavily AIPAC-funded members of Congress—are not going to do that. They're all in. As the party has been for decades. It's lodged in the platform, so the only choice is primarying them and others like them.

25/26
@Shikaternia
That's because they support genocide against Palestinians

26/26
@marshallmuse3
y'all rejected kdh and now you want her voice on things?
she actually rebuffed bibi.
meanwhile dt has rolled out the red carpet for him 2x in less than 6 months lol.

They’re all narcissists, their lack of empathy doesn’t mean they wouldn’t have handled the Gaza situation the same if they were in power.

This apologia of Trump’s barbarism is disgusting. Kamala penning a strongly worded letter would mean nothing. Online lefties would still pick it apart though
