You cant really compare a blatant genocide,to PERCIEVED beggining stages of facism. The journalist in Gaza should definitely be reporting on the genocide over accounting fraud. Because i dont see any way they could see the accounting fraud being more important.
However it is arguable that as a liberal journalist, One could see dark money in their party being more important than dark money given to Republicans. What if the dark money is part of an elaborate plan to sabatogue the party from within. Or just preventing certain members from doing whats best for the party? Making them an anchor to an already sinking party?
Also the Democrats/Hillary were the ones who exhaulted Trump and those like him. Hoping their moral impurity would turn off voters. Not realizing many liberals and their media are responsible for the lack of moral purity in Americans. Which makes them highly succeptable to turning a blind eye to someone elses moral gray areas. Not to mention the Democrats have their own fair share of moral impurities. And when people see you as the "moral party" you will be judged more harshly like any pastor would.
