I'm also in California. My instinct is to say that none of that will matter as far as him securing the Democratic nomination. Pritzker likely gets hit with similar criticism. I mean, they the Administration is already actively implementing policies that violate the first amendment. This is beyond just "rhetoric", they are currently considering a new policy that will allow the State Department to revoke US passports of citizens who provide material support to "terrorist" (similar to what the UK is doing with supporters of Palestine action). And guess what, Marco Rubio gets to decide what constitutes a terrorist as well as what constitutes material support.
