I would hope the firefighter wouldn't do the dishes and make a big to do about it while fire is raging.
I mean being honest, as elected peoples they should be making more of a stink about it. With the threat to the document they're supposed to uphold, we should expect that at least. The unfortunate caveat here being Schumer and Jefferies themselves.
Anyways, I'm wishing there's a media blitz upcoming with the void in the shutdown. There's a lot of topics they can cover from the distasteful spending, gutting services, etc. They could even pander to yeehaws that mumble and bumble about "attacks on the Constitution". But it needs to be a focused, nationwide push.
As a plus, I'm attending more protests and each one seems to be growing in numbers, so I think the field is playable. These chaps need to organize and do that focus part where the normal people can't. I'm lucky Pritzker steps in front and does it for the state, alongside having politicians like Duckworth that have smoke for zany Republicans, but it can't stay local.
