genuine question; where does this leverage or power come from? they WANT those subsidies, but they didn't win the election. Republicans wanted a lot of things in 2021; they didn't get them.
They did, in fact Joe biden willingly invited republicans into the BBB discussion which destroyed the entire bill and led to Joe manchin walking back his claims that they needed to go bigger. This idea that democrats don't work with republicans across the aisle is false. In fact, my argument is they they SHOULD BEHAVE like republicans

an utter non-answer. so i'll take that as an acknowledgment that while it's fine that democrats WANT to extend covid era subsidies for the ACA, they were not given the mandate or power to do so by the voters :yeshrug: that is an objective fact.

sad that progressives want people to go hungry on november 1st

why can't you answer the question?

why do Democrats think they have the leverage or power to demand that covid era ACA subsidies be extended, when voters did not give them the power or mandate to do so? if they wanted to do that; did they not have to win the election?

why do progressives want people to go hungry on november 1st?

What would Sam say his specialty is?

I mean, he's probably one of the most knowledgeable left wing commentators around (at least that I'm aware of).

But, as far as I've seen, he's too self deprecating and self aware to call himself a specialist in any area. However, I'd put him up there with Mehdi Hassan and John Iadarola as far as general political knowledge.

But Ezra is probably more knowledgeable than him in specific areas such as Healthcare, AI, housing, etc.

Sam has spread himself so thin he barely sticks up for antisemitism :dead:

Worry about winning anything in backwards ass in Louisiana, don't worry about progressives

I can picture ya stupid ass reading some white man book for guidance to make a response before you hit “post reply”. Ya whole progressive identity is following what kkkrackas say.

Dog, I'm serious—why are you stressing about progressives when Democrats haven’t even bothered to invest in winning Louisiana? That should be dead last on your worry list. You’re in here crying about them every day like they’re the reason voters in Louisiana won’t touch Democrats’ trash-ass policies with a ten-foot pole. They’re not voting because they’re not buying what’s being sold by what you dikk eating daily 💀. What you defend isn't even respected in Louisiana
