Not going to matter if ICE is unpopular.
There against the tactics ICE is using they aren’t against them getting illegals out of here. They think Dems are too soft on immigration and still trust Trump more on the issue

For many people, seeing pictures and videos of scores of children being bombed into oblivion did affect their everyday lives.People vote on what affects their everyday lives more then anything else not Gaza
A politics of moral empathy and solidarity have actually historically been more prevalent within the lower classes than the upper classes.Aside from rich people who have that priveledge nobody is thinking “ I just lost my job I can’t pay my bills right now but let me worry about what’s happening thousands of miles away first” when it comes to voting
I agree with your overall point, but bolded is only true if the Democrats make it true by picking up the mantle. Otherwise, Trump's empty lip service will still be convincing enough to a significant enough percentage of the population compared to Democrat's complete absence. People will pick a liar over someone who doesn't even show up. So if in the next election, JD Vance or whichever MAGA Trump acolyte is the only person saying they will end all wars, I think it will override the fundamental truth of the Trump Administration's hawkish actions to some degree. Would be a terrible self-own by the Democrats. This has never meant less. Obviously that could change and Vance doesn't have any hope without the Trump endorsement. But the idea of Trump being an anti-war outsider that's going to make things better is all but dead.

Shows what he thinks about the average intelligence of the black communityIt is absolutely fake outrage by Hannity and the Republicans. Doesn't change the fact it was a moronic own goal by Newsom. What does being dyslexic have to do with the black community?
. Not to say dyslexic doesn't mean you aren't intelligent but comparing the black community to a dyslexic person sure is a take. With that said we already elected a racist segregationist im sure this will blow over. Both and he admitted the comment wasn't a smart one. It's not concerning because buddy isn't a racist, just tried to overdo relating to a predominately black audience in a sh*tty way.Is the dumb shyt in reference to Newsom or the people taking issue with his comment? He doesn't have to be racist for it to be a concerning comment.
I think there's probably some point/think piece about the experience of being black in America being analogous to dyslexia (the difficulty decoding what does America want from us. Thinking something like Fanon's Black Skin, White Masks). But Newsom is not the one to make it for a number of reasons.Shows what he thinks about the average intelligence of the black community. Respectfully disagree. Him thinking that was a good way to relate to a predominately black audience is what's concerning to me. It's not a binary between racist and it's fine. There's a world between the two imo. It's not concerning because buddy isn't a racist, just tried to overdo relating to a predominately black audience in a sh*tty way.
