What’s hilarious about Platner is dude served 4 combat tours and a tour as a private contractor. You know how much you have to love killing to go back to Iraq and Afghanistan 5 times?

I have friends who were in the military during the height of the war and not one has ever said you know what I really enjoyed spending my 20’s doing? Kicking down doors at 3am and baking in the Iraq sun for hours dodging sniper fire and roadside bombs:


Like did anyone do a psyche evaluation on this guy? I’m assuming we are of the same general age range and were in high school or there about when the war kicked off and know how historically unpopular it was?

I hope he gets in there and does what he says he wants to do but I hope we don’t have another Fetterman stroke situation.

I know a lot of people who voluntairly went back for promotions or as contractors because the tax free money was just that good.
