I have lived and worked in the Buffalo area almost all of my life. It's essentially like all other rusk belt cities depressing poor mixed with a bit of institutional racism. Cost of living is fairly cheap in the area, every thing is essentially segregated though. You can get a really good home for around 150k. The night life is cool at times, Allen town and chippewa is the only thing buffalo has so if you want to have fun head down there. Lots of stuff to do in the buffalo-Niagara falls area if you an out of towner. Oh yeah the galleria mall is dope, can get expensive though

I'm speaking unfortunate reality of the area and situation as someone whom lived in that area during portions of my life. They should check the Niagara river and gorge as well.
