The Bernie stans are delusional, even Obama knows it, that's why he light weight threw his support to Hillary earlier today. Republicans are grinning at the prospect of Bernie getting to the General. It's going to be a clean sweep for the republicans.
Dawg, you're a center-right type of Democrat talking to a bunch of progressives, stop acting as if you are politically where we are at. You're not. So your critiques are hollow and what you will accept is completely different. @wire28 what do you mean Bernie would try again and again and fail? First off, if Sanders were to win, that would equal the Democrats at least getting the Senate back and the map would be redrawn in 2020. Second, Sanders would appoint people to cabinet positions that would actually go after Wall Street and others. That in and of itself is a major difference. Third, Sanders would start farther from the left whereas Clinton would start in the middle and ultimately end up with a center-right plan. So no, it's not the same thing. Bernie Sanders winning an election and not being some crazy ass dude who fukks up the country would basically negate the stigma attached to progressives in America and dead that line of attack for decades.

But more importantly, your entire stance and the stance of @dtownreppin214 is cowardly if you are true progressives. What you're saying is that you are afraid of standing up for what you believe in because you don't think enough right wing people will be behind you. If progressives keep kicking the can down the road, then you're only going to further entrench the establishment and legitimize money in politics. The country is moving to the left, recent data has eliminated the lie that people move to the right when they get older. They simply keep their views, and the country is becoming more "colorful" and minorities are progressive. An American president of Sanders' ilk is coming within the next 15 years.

The difference between Hillary and Bernie in that regard is that Hillary takes bribes from various industries and is not genuine. So why vote for Hillary if Sanders can do the same things but potentially more?

:jbhmm:

did i say i was voting for hilary or that bernie would meet the most resistance :jbhmm: like most bernie super stans, your blinders prohibit you from actually comprehending what you are reading.

that's a lie

GM's Flint operations employed 80,000 people in 1978. At the time, New York City had a reputation for being the most dangerous place in America — not Flint.

However, the tide started to turn for Flint in the '80s. That's when GM started setting up factories in Mexico and dramatically reduced its operations in Flint. By 2006 GM employed just 8,000 people in Flint, according to Flint's city manager.
How Flint, Michigan Became The Most Dangerous City In America

Yes, there were trade agreements negotiated in the 80's under Reagan as well but NAFTA was the icing on the cake that sped up the process of those factories moving over seas

i cant speak for the others but literally in the post he quoted i said i liked bernie the best and never who i was voting for.

the only definitive statements i've made are that bernie would meet the most opposition (which it seems you either semi agree with or disagree with)

and that bernies super stans are greatly annoying

you do make good points about who he would be able to appoint though. we need to keep the supreme court somewhat sane as well.

Speak on issues you know nothing about, brehs. :francis:

Those decisions were made by Rick Snyder (Republican governor) and the emergency managers he appointed. Oh, and the GOP controls the state congress. You'd have to be FOX News level partisiam to somehow figure this is somehow the fault of the Democrats.

Why should anyone on the left vote for Hillary?
youre right, she never walked with martin :jbhmm:

but to give you a more in depth answer, news flash, everyone has different opinions on the candidates. me just liking bernie and not being a super stan like you probably lends to some conflict on this issue

:laff: how? If Obama can't pass shyt and has to do everything via executive order, why do you folks believe Hilary will be able to get any substantial legislation through. You guys act like she wasn't a part of the biggest political disaster of Bill Clinton's presidency via their healthcare bill.
you really going to judge her on something that happened 25 years ago? cmon b since then she's been a senator and secy of state.

obama came into this thing wayyy too idealistic. plus he had other factors going against him....my breh spent 2 years on bullshyt like birth certificates and death panels. obama also made other mistakes like shunning the liberal media and congress dems....it was basically him, valerie jarrett, and handful of other confidants. he was way too closed off. if he played the game better, he'd gotten way more support from the media when the republicans were lying about every damn thing about that healthcare bill....obama got sloppy with the message too many times during his presidency. the clintons are insiders, which means they have more friends in congress, more friends in the media (to control the message), and she'll assemble a vet staff that will cut deals and get shyt done. i know they at war right now, but she WILL get her honeymoon period just like Obama. having a woman being sworn into office is going to be a moving moment in this country. she will be able to walk on water initially and during that time (unlike obama who deferred to congress on a lot of issues) i see her coming in with a plan and ready to pull the 'sexism card' if the rethugs get too rough. honestly dont see her getting bullied by the rethugs as much as obama has during his presidency. she already has the advantage of having paul ryan instead of Boehner for SOH.

Some great points being made on this CNN post show. I def liked Hillary's "you don't get to choose the issues you want to attack" as president line. That was a great hit against Bernie.

Bernie's line about "Experience is great, but judgment is better than experience. Cheney had a lot of experience."
