I get it. I truly do. At the end of the day, it’s your municipalities that you can have some type of effect on. If the South chooses more Black congressmen, then they can unite and try to push policies that can truly reach us. Mississippi is 40% black but only 1/4 of its representatives is black. Of course there is gerrymandering, voter intimidation, the games at the polls, etc that can account for the reason behind them only having one representative but still.

At the end of the day we need to vote and put money into the system. Those people speak only to money unfortunately.

Jesse Ventura is in an underpopulated state and he used his CELEBRITY status to woo everyone from all parties in. Trump, as well, has decades-long fame to use for his campaign.

And sadly, Cornell West doesn't appeal to anyone outside of a handful of blacks and virtually none of the other races. He ain't no Puff Daddy level famous, and he is going against a MAGA cult base that believes that 2024 is their last legitimate shot.
